We also had appliances from howdens which i find excellent value and good quality. 23 units including expensive pull out larder, corner le mans larder etc and came to £5200. Also howdens make their own cabinets so they might be similar but they aren't the same as b&q, and to be honest after hunting lots of showrooms when deciding my kitchen i found quite alot are similar you have to look closer and have a good fiddle to find the quality differences. He understood what we wanted and recommended we used our local branch of howdens in gosport as he had a trade account with them and would order the kitchen such that he could deal direct should any issues arise and take the stress away from us. So inevitably, ikea kitchens, howdens and b&q were on our hit list.

Haven't been to look at b&q kitchens so can't comment on quality, the reason for not looking was the bad reviews though. I would recommend howdens to all my clients for there quality and expertise,
